Spray Tan Aftercare


             Pre Application

It is recommended that you have a patch test if you have never used any self tanning products or have sensitive skin

Do not use any other self tanning products for at least 1 week before the applciation

Wax or shave at least 24 hours prior to the application

Exfolate prior to the applciation

DO NOT wear any make up, deoderant, perfume, body oils or lotions prior to the application as these may act as a barrier


Application

Our spray tan speciallist will talk you through the proapplication processat the time of your appointment, however you can view the spray tan application process video on our website

Ladies will be provided with a disposable thong but please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in

Men will be required to wear underwear at all times


             Post Application - Immediately after

Wear loose clothing

Keep skin completely dry, avoid contact with water

Do not apply products to the developing tan

Allow the tan to develop for 6 to 8 hours or sleep in it over night if possible

Avoid other beauty/hair treatments while the tan is developing

Avoid activities that make you perspire

Hot beverages and toothpaste can strip a developing tan, so please be careful


             Post Application - After development

Rinse off the colour guide with warm water, once the water runs clear cleanse yourself with a mild cleansing product

Avoid products taht contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHA's) as they can strip tthe tan

Chlorine, oil based moisturisers and sun tan lotions can prematurely fade your tan

Use an oil free moisturiser daily to prolong your tan and lock in the colour

After 5 to 7 days we recommend you start exfoliating your skin and repeat this every 2-3 days to ensure your tan fades easily
